Disturbing

Probably one of the most disturbing art installations I have ever seen. This was in the new part of the Tate Modern, London and involved a large mannequin with a very evil looking face being thrown around a space and repeatedly dumped on the ground as Perch Sledge’s ‘When a man loves a woman’. The whole atmosphere felt shocking and hopeless. I’ve never seen an audience looking so engrossed. The sound of the heavy chains rattling out of their holders and spilling onto the floor was unnerving. My friend and I are still talking about it a day later. I may add extras to this do you can see the face in a few days when I’m back from the big smoke.
