Edinburgh Fringe 2018 day 2

This year we’re packing most of our Fringe activities into one long weekend. Day 2 went like this:

01:00 - return home from drinks in the Library Bar at the Gilded Balloon with Kev Sutherland.

02:00 - go to bed.

02:15 - the door bell sounds and we wake up to discover that I have locked out Paddy and Caitlin. I just assumed that they were home before us.

09:15 - wake up 'properly' with just 45 minutes in which to get ready for a brunch date with Wiebke, Paul and Alexa.

10:00 - brunch at Brandons.

11:00 - the bill for brunch at Brandons doesn't make sense, even with the help of calculators (and I am panicking about reaching the next show on time). It turns out that an extra breakfast was mistakenly added to our bill.

11:10 - hugs and fond farewells to Paddy and Caitlin, then set off up the road for the Pleasance. Advantage is taken of a taxi.

11:55 - Racing Minds' improv show.

12:55 - another taxi, this time to the EICC.

13:30 - Cirque Beserk.

14:15 - home again for lunch and a game of Catan with Mr hazelh and Andrew (which Mr hazelh won).

19:15 - out again to the Pleasance.

20:00 - Alex Edelman's show.

21:15 - back down the road again to the Guildford Arms.

21:30 - dancing at the Chil gig with Mr hazelh, Katherina, Andrew, Katharine, Mike, Susie, and Larry. Meanwhile Jack plays rhythm guitar on stage. Katherina shows off her credentials as the Russian Party Princess (RPP).

In my blip Jack is on the left hand side of the stage with the golden guitar. In front of the stage Andrew (in a leather jacket) dances with the RPP, Mr hazelh is next to them in a black T shirt, and facing them are Mike and Katharine. In the extra I am dancing with Mr hazelh. This is definitely the best 'show' of the day :-)

00.15 - home again for a midnight snack.

01:00 - bed.

Exercise today: walking and dancing (25,790 steps).
