Edinburgh Fringe 2018 day 1

This year we’re packing most of our Fringe activities into one long weekend. Day 1 went like this:

06:30 - taking stock in the kitchen, to include auditing the contents of the fridge and reorganising utensils that had somehow migrated to the ‘wrong’ shelves/cupboards while we left the youngsters in charge.

08:00 - run with Paddy and Mr hazelh.

09:30 - waitressing duty while Mr hazelh cooked breakfast for everyone.

12:00 - to the Pleasance for Mervyn Stutter’s show.

14:30 - tea break at the Black Medicine Company.

15:25 - Mitch Benn’s show.

16:45 - cocktails at the Panda bar.

17:45 - back home for a game of Catan (which I won).

18:45 - gnocchi for supper, cooked by Paddy.

19:20 - back up to town to see Tom Houghton’s show.

21:10 - to the Gilded Balloon for the Scottish  Falsetto Sock Puppet Theatre.

I am posting this while we wait for the Socks. We have a date in the bar with Kev Sutherland afterwards so we will probably not make it home until 01:00am. The step count is currently at 27,425...

Exercise today: 3 mile run; walking (27,735 steps up to midnight).
