Afternoon Tea

It was a ‘Bank Holiday’ today and our neighbourhood was having ‘Afternoon Tea’ on the lawn across the road. We do like our neighbourhood parties and we like to do them a couple of times a year at least, more if I count the indoor ones. The last one we had was for the Royal Wedding in May.

My contribution was a plate of American oatmeal raisin cookies! I had to do my bit for a cross-cultural event! It was a fun gathering. The picture of the cake table was before a lot more people came. There was even more!

After the rain all day yesterday we were thankful for a dry although grey day.
