(Lovely) Enemy of the Gardener

Today we visited C on the edge of Umeå, to return the lovely Rusty home.
C mentioned to us that she was having problems with a hare eating her strawberries and vegetables. I'd wandered out into the garden to take pictures of river, and suddenly this hare came running round the corner of the house, on its way from her garden to the forest. It saw me and promptly sat down, freezing, hoping I wouldn't see it. It stayed there long enough for me to turn on the camera and get the shot before it ran off into the trees.
It is a beautiful creature and I'm sure C doesn't mind sharing a little of her produce with it!
The house is on the edge of a forest nature reserve. This is the edge of her garden and the tree on the left is the edge of the nature reserve. It's not surprising her garden is full of birds, a falcon drifts by a few times a day, and a bit of leaf spinach get eaten now and again.
The extra is the Umeå River at sunset, taken from her garden.
