Let It Be

We went to the Everyman Theatre in Cheltenham to see the matinee performance of Let It Be, a celebration of Beatles music played by a very talented lookalike group, they'd even found a left-handed Paul McCartney.  The music was excellent and had the audience, mostly aged between 60 and 70, on their feet, clapping in time and even waving their mobiles for light whilst swaying back and forth. It was a full house and great atmosphere.  The band played over forty Beatles songs whilst screens showed clips from the 1960s.

Photography was allowed during the performance though due to ever changing lighting conditions the results were poor to mediocre, with some submissions suitable for Abstract Thursday should I have wished.  The main picture shows the group as they went through their Sgt Pepper phase, the extra is a portrait of ‘Paul’, apparently with a pillar of light descending on him!
