Tarmac

Today the new tarmac was completed on our lane down to the farm. There were several potholes and ruts made by heavy vehicles and the winter weather.  The stretch in the photograph is where the lane meets the turning down to the corn storage barn  and where concrete was laid at the junction and a rough patch had formed.

Lovely golden autumnal weather.  T and N working hard on the farm drilling and cultivating after the farm assurance inspection earlier in the day. The amount of paperwork that needs to be prepared for this is amazing.  Anyway we passed it so we can stick on the label when we sell corn or livestock.  Not many buyers accept produce without this qualification.
