Spice Bus No 19

To Manchester for a holiday haircut, back in time to accompany J to the hospital. All is OK.

I passed this in Manchester. These days, Spice is a really bad thing - an artificial and very strong cannabinoid that seems rampant amongst the rough sleepers to be seen everywhere. When I first saw people passed out or seemingly dead to the world on pavements, it was alarming. I’ve become inured to it. I’m not sure that is a good thing.

But this is a different Spice. I had to look it up, but it’s the bus driven by Meatloaf in the 1997 film Spice World. One I somehow missed, and parked up to advertise an exhibition of Spice Girls memorabilia.

The third named storm in a week today - Bronagh, following Helene and Ali. And another heading in on Sunday. All bringing lots of rain (an entirely irrelevant link to today’s AT theme).

The Jet Stream seems to have found it’s mojo.
