Moth or Monster?

A day of macro photography with Olympus at the Butterfly Farm, Stratford -upon-Avon. We were also able to try using a ringflash and some other lenses - I particularly liked the 30mm prime for getting really close.  Varied success with the results, but I learned a lot about using high ISO more successfully.  There were thousands of butterflies and moths as well as some weird and wonderful insects brought out for us to photograph.  I particularly liked the Atlas Moth - huge and well camouflaged. with each wing looking like the head of a snake in an attempt to deter predators; it's big enough to make a hearty meal for something.

A quieter day tomorrow I hope.
