Long Tailed Blue Butterfly

Backblip
This was the last day of our holiday in France that I have now backblipped (due to very poor internet whilst away) starting here if you would like to take a look and have time.

Bergerac - Day #7
We woke up to a very misty morning and the promise of rain in the afternoon, so we headed our quite early. We went to a lovely little village called Limeuil which is at the confluence of the Dordogne and Vezere rivers. It has been classed as one of the most beautiful villages in France and even on a cloudy day we could see why. The quaint little streets leading up to the Parc Limeuil at the top and the panoramic gardens offered some great views over the river. The gardens were a bit past it but they were very quiet and the ice cream after the steep climb was delicious. A few butterflies were flitting about and I think that this one is a long tailed blue that has lost it's tails. I can't match it up to any other species, but if somebody knows differently, please don't hesitate to correct me.
As we were leaving it started to rain but we had seen all there was to see so headed back home.
Our final meal at the bistro was as good as the first and we were sorry to say goodbye to Johan the chef.
Even though our last day was cloudy and a bit wet, we still didn't want to go home....but tomorrow we must :(
It's been a fabulous week and we will definitely be back.
