Colchicum - the autumn crocus

What a difference a day makes. I went to bed with a bit of a snuffle and woke with a full blown cold. Instead of being back out walking, I've been in bed and have drooped around the place trying to keep my germs to myself.

Mum was given a bowl of autumn crocuses for her birthday, and here is one of the flowers.

Have to be well tomorrow to talk to the camera club about Blipfoto. This is the talk that was postponed due to a blizzard earlier in the year.

What a nuisance!
