Plaiting with carrots.

One thing we always do in season is help Katkatkat with any jobs on the allotment.   As the season is drawing to a close there was a lot of harvesting to do and a lot of weeding of the empty plots.

Clickychick spent most of the day topping and tailing Carrots and Parsnips, with taking the dried stems off the onions for light relief.  As a relative beginner Katkatkat hadn't been as thorough with thinning the carrots as she might have been.  The result was a number strange contorted examples.  This one resembling a plait caught my eye.
