Mono Monday: Week 246 .......

.... Seasonal.

Yep .... it's another Brevard, NC white squirrel!!

We both slept really well last night at the B&B and the breakfast this morning was delicious!

As breakfast wasn't until 9:00 am we went out beforehand to search for the white squirrels.  Unfortunately it wasn't the best light conditions first thing as it was a little overcast with low light. So after breakfast and checking out of the B&B we went back to Brevard College and found more squirrels out then earlier.  

Each time we have been in Brevard it has been our habit to visit a local shop called the White Squirrel Shoppe!  We love it in there as they have everything you can imagine featuring the white squirrels that Brevard is known for!  We purchased a few things including a new t-shirt for me!

After that we made our way back to the condo at Lake Lure .... traveling through Bat Cave and Chimney Rock .... stopping at a few places along the way! 

We were back here by 6:30 and settled in for the night.  It was another fabulous day!

All the squirrels we saw this trip were busy seasonally gathering lots of seeds and nuts!
