Camellia house

We went to visit Woburn Abbey gardens to take advantage of the good weather this afternoon. This photo was taken in the Camellia house, where they have all sorts of semi-tropical (I think) plants as well. The camellias must be quite old, some of them had stems about four or five inches thick. The extras show a Chinese pavilion in the gardens, and a deer (one of hundreds) in the deer park.

I'm experimenting with just using a 50mm (full frame equivalent) focal length for a while. It's all I ever had on cameras when I was younger and  I've always liked it, although nowadays it seems to be regarded with less favour as a general purpose focal length.
