In the chill of the autumnal morning , Penrith is bathed in a lake of mist. The first really cold morning of the season with pools of frozen water around.
On my way to the studio this morning I came across this scene. It's a favourite stopping place of mine to get a view of the Eden Valley.
I decided that we would go to Carlisle this afternoon to buy a birthday present for my granddaughter. She already has so many toys I decided to buy a few bits and pieces of clothes I think she'll like including a frilly, pink net rah rah skirt for fun!
Another thing I enjoyed doing on the sunny afternoon was taking a series of shots of red things to put into a portfolio for work with a student next week!
When we got home one of the red squirrels was in the garden so when I persuaded The Man to go and try an outdoor shot of it I thought I'd take a shot of them both (from inside) to put in Extras just so those of you who comment of my squirrel (or bird) blips can see our set-up and how close the red squirrels come.
