Cygnets on the River

Thank you so much for the warm welcome home! It's great to be back! I'll be posting the first backblip shortly. There are so many photos to wade through, that it's likely to be trickle feed with the backblips :)

I had a really good night's sleep but woke early (on account of going to bed so very early), so I went off to the river for sunrise. My camera stopped autofocusing properly on the last day of my trip, so it gave me lots of trouble, as I don't find manual focus easy. However, I was quite pleased with this shot. Off to see my 'camera man' tomorrow - it seems it is probably the lens rather than the camera.

The rest of the day has been functional - great that it has been bright and sunny for the washing!
