Old and New

The old leaves are now beginning to fall, and this one fell on to the netting which I put out to protect the new grass seed.  The grass is growing quite well, but I reckon no more than 50% of the seeds germinated, so it is looking a bit thin at the moment.  I'll have to see how it looks in the Spring.

There will probably be quite a few blips of autumn leaves in the next few weeks.
