So Sobo 1

Family traumas failed to cancel the annual distaff visit to Stobo Health farm which began today.

A health Farm conjures up all sorts of rigours and minimalist meals, but at Stobo there is more eating and drinking than our stomachs have known since the last visit. However there is the opportunity for the girls to do their own thing free from demanding family life; so one daughter went out for a run, two others engaged in a little light swimming, the Oman daughter, straight off an overnight flight from Muscat, regained her enthusiasm for life in a sauna, while daughter number 2 and I sat in swing seats and mulled over life’s curved balls.
The troops reconnected again at 4:15 for a chance to do a little light drinking, thanks to His Lordship’s thoughtful gift of Prosecco, and the eating of cake and distribution of sisterly gifts. It all felt a bit like Christmas without the husbands and children.

Now it’s chill out time before dinner and a little more light drinking. You have no idea how difficult it was to write this blog under the ‘fluence!

My blip is of a wet daughter #4 and I sharing a swing seat before her dampness permeated my jeans
