A prize

The recycled silver salver that my partner and I won in a competition from months ago and received at the club's prize giving this evening. The salver was initially given in 1960 to some Masonic Lodge golf society which must now be defunct; being a nice solid bit of silver it's good that it's found a new home!

The days real 'excitement' was choosing paint for decorating our bedroom. I can't stand the grey walls in a gloomy room any longer!
