A Short Walk

Day 3 of recovery. Still progressing. Pain is receding, sitting down I feel quite normal (no jokes please) and it’s only when using my stomach muscles that I am reminded it’s only 72 hours since the operation. It’s marvellous how the medical profession has developed techniques to minimise time spent in hospital and maximised the recovery rate for patients.

Anyway felt well enough for a short walk this afternoon. L came along to keep an eye on me. It certainly wasn’t a long walk (I’d describe it more of a shuffle) but it was still great to be out again.
