Is it a bird?!

Sorry, a very dull blip that I've tried to make more interesting! No prizes for guessing where I've been ...

A very dull day all round. Other than meeting a gorgeous Springer and his lovely owners; he had almost identical markings to Poppydog but 10+ years younger with energy to match, but a sad back story of abuse and starvation. He was initially chary of me - I had walking poles and he used to be beaten with sticks - but he really warmed up later. His new owners patently absolutely adored him (which is why we stood and chatted for so long - I can't resist a good bit of Springer adoration!).

Painting this afternoon. Quilting this evening. Plus ça change ;-)
