Saltford's Santa Dash

The first Sunday of Advent and he's definitely on his way.

The miserable weather did not seem to have deterred any of the local Santas as they set off on their charity fun run this morning. 

Cathy and some of the other local ladies were walking the course and firmly at the rear from the start.  As one of their friends said in an e-mail of encouragement yesterday, if they wanted to avoid finishing last then there needed to be less talking and more walking :-)

Now that it is the first Sunday of Advent I had better get those sprouts on to boil - I don't want them to be undercooked for Christmas Day ....
