Smirnoff

After the usual bimboing about for too much of the day, the prospect of a pint of beer up town was dangled before me. By the time I’d got up there, they’d legged it offski elsewhere. I consoled myself, as so often, with a Bratwurst from the Christmas market, where I eventually met them, après-art. The beer offer seemed to have expired.
And by then it was time for me to leg it anyway - to meet the Cigs at the Village to see some geezer’s geometrical photography offerings. And then a bus along to see top of the table Edinburgh FC take on mighty Peterheid. And we were joined by an ex-colleague - BM, whose brother in law is the famous Jim McInally of Dundee Utd and now Peterheid’s manager (apparently the second longest serving football manager in the various leagues north and south). Michty! A dull first half "exploded into life" yadda yadda "ten man EFC” yaddda yah. One apiece and EFC still top.

The People’s Vote, an aside: Haven't we had a people’s vote already? If the best brains in the govt and civil service can’t come up with a leave proposition after two years, WTF were parliamentarians thinking of, putting it under the public’s nose in the first place?
