The accidental finding

By woodpeckers

The first reindeer of Christmas.

Today was exhausting:
Tidying the sitting room, sorting paperwork
Putting up lights and crib scene
Giving a massage to an elderly, frail person
Running to nursery for Christmas lunch....

Blah blah blah....

Finally, the tree was up and decorated, around 10pm. The Christmas chocolates I hid last year turned up again. At least, the packaging did. Little scraps of foil, a chocolate box filled with individual nests of shredded paper angels, and three decoration cartons sprinkled with little mouse droppings. Note to self: do NOT store chocolate in the loft again, even by mistake!

I carried on sorting and catching up, eventually going to bed about 1am. Brain was buzzing so hard I found it hard to get to sleep.

Reason for extra hyperactivity is that I've been offered a stall in Stroud for Friday and Saturday! Indoors. Steve and I are going to share it. Less time for decking the halls at home, more for sales, we hope
