Some much needed colour from nature

How lovely to find a flower still flowering at Christmas. I planted this seedling which I bought in the spring and it has been flowering off and on ever since outside the dining room window. It is somewhat bedraggled and when the proper frosts arrive it will likely depart, but it has been much appreciated, despite its rather unnatural colour. However spring isn't too far away, I hope, and then we can start again.
