The Pink Shed

I stopped to visit my mom's first cousin who is 85.  She was having some back issues but otherwise is in fairly good health.  She asked me when I was going to make a trip to Pennsylvania again as she wants to go with me to see some relatives of hers who live there..such as her brother who is a few years younger than her!  Always up for a road trip!!    There might be a trip happening in summer...it has been a couple of years and I have four aunts who live in PA that I should visit. They are all getting up in age.  

This red shed was in her yard  just asking for its photo to be made..it has faded to a wonderful pink color but I could tell that it was red at one point in its life.   I did brighten the color a little in this collage to try to bring that color out.  

Raining here again today.   Tomorrow is my #2 son's 39th birthday.  We are going to take him out for dinner at his favorite barbeque place..Bone In Barbeque.  This restaurant is the same chef who catered his wedding almost 4 years ago and is known for his off the wall combinations of meat and sweet.   The restaurant has only been open a year and this will be the first trip for Jerry and I as it is in Columbia.  It has to be a really special reason for us to drive 40 minutes to eat on a Friday night!     Maybe I will wait to post my blip so I can do some food photography.
