THIMUN 2019 #1

ah ! my first beer in the Hague for 2019. Probably the best in the world. Well, I thought so at the time.  The most deserved any way, after a long haul of a day that started with an 8am Istanbul time departure from school and finished at 23.30 by the Netherlandish clock (01.30 in 'real' time) having, with colleague & friend Sean and Ruth, safely brought seventeen student delegates to the Hague for this year's THIMUN* conference and then battled with the icy wind and rain that is Dutch winter weather for dinner in the nearest restaurant that looked inviting, that turned out to be Chinese/Indonesian cuisine. Yum.  

*The Hague Model United Nations. It is the 51st annual THIMUN conference, and the 7th time I have chaperoned a delegation of our students.
