Wild Wednesday: Hungry

Working from home gave me the chance to take a quick shot of the garden feeder this afternoon while enjoying a tea break.  The local bird life have been busy - but it has been cold.  In the main the visitors have been goldfinches (we get a lot of goldfinches) a couple of robins and some blue tits and coaltits.  We used to get greenfinches but have not seen any now for a few years which is a bit of a shame.  I seem to remember that they were vulnerable to a disease and presume that the local population has not yet recovered.
