Dancing On Thin Ice

We walked at Lodge Farm this morning and I captured a friend flying overhead in his gyrocopter.

After lunch we went to Hooks Marsh and watched the coots dancing on the ice from the vantage point of the bridge over Seventy Acres Lake. Very amusing. :) It being a weekend, lots of people and their dogs were out and about. A couple with their gorgeous Briard were nervous of meeting Ollie, saying that their dog doesn't like GSDs but she won them over. It was lovely that they were grateful for the meeting. We met a huge male husky called Winter that was with two very good-looking and toned men. It towered over Ollie. They let Winter off the lead and and the two dogs had a lovely game, with Winter ending up in the river at one point. Ollie squealed with delight. She's flirting they said. :)
