Beach weather

... undeniably. We walked to the market and then took a picnic to the beach just the other side of Cotobro. It looks as if it's remote but it's only a 20-minute walk from the house. The curve of the bay hides all the high rise hotels along the sea front in Almuñecar, so you can only see the castle and the Peñon (the headland on the right).

It was really warm, the warmest it's been yet. Sun cream was required, and if you zoom in, you can see the swimmer. Neither of us braved the water ... still not quite warm enough.

In the evening, intercambio as usual, a little more restrained than usual, so we were home by 11:30. S won the raffle! A bottle of wine to add to the two we won at a quiz last week, to our mutual surprise.
