Castle Bridge

We  had a busy day in Bristol.  Late afternoon we were walking through parts of the city we had never previously visited, and came across this rather graceful foot and cycle bridge across part of the floating harbour.  It was built in 2017.

It has been a very wet weekend here, and that bald, grey sky in my blip is the best it has been.

We have visited Bristol several times a year for several years and still find ourselves getting lost, both in the city and in the surrounding suburbs. So much is familiar, but we still haven't got to grips with the geography of the place and how the various parts link up.  We have now invested in a set of maps and street plans and will be studying these with care. (Satnav may get you to places, but it doesn't help you learn your way around.)
