Westerwood

Our Tuesday walk with Cumbernauld and Kilsyth Ramblers this week was an undulating 7.5km stroll around Westerwood, including the path network that criss-crosses the Golf Course.

Despite the unpromising weather forecast, 39 Ramblers turned up at the start-point in Cumbernauld Village, so it was quite a large group that set out. The Blip only shows a few of them. The rain stayed off until the point where we had our mid-walk break - typical! - and, just as contrarily, eased off just as we got going again.
