Crocus

It seems as if overnight Crocus, Snowdrops and Daffodils have bloomed and the garden has gone from looking drab and dreary to bright and colourful.  I'm keeping an eye on the Magnolias too but there's nothing to show as yet;  we have two Stellata which are old and well established and a couple of years ago we put in a Magnolia Susan which is a purple variety.  This has still to flower for us and it would be lovely if this was to be the year.

We've both been making smoothies, trying recipes from friends and family and also what I've found on the web, but like anything it's looking that the old tried and true flavours are actually the ones we prefer.
