San Francisco

This is the view across San Francisco Bay toward SF Airport and SF Financial district. From our hotel room we have been watching the planes coming in for landing; often two planes are arriving parallel to each other and landing simultaneously on two different runways. We wondered if planes could land faster while being watched more closely  by air traffic control. 

It was another beautiful day; we drove to Pier 39 and then walked around the area, stopping for Clam Chowder at Boudin Bakery Cafe and then Ghirardelli Square for chocolate. We easily got in our 10,000 steps today......nice!! Tonight we drove our daughter and her kids to the airport in San Jose.....they agreed that the trip here was too short......hugs and kisses and they were headed home. We had a great time together.

It was a very very good day.
