Glad I filled up the birds' feeders yesterday evening before Storm Freya arrived. It enabled the birds to start feeding early and saved me from doing battle with the over 60mph winds. Horrible weather! (Keep thinking of all the early butterflies we've seen over the past week, and wondering how they're faring. Hope they've found themselves shelter and can ride out the storm.)
Spent the afternoon in hunker-down mode, watching Raymond Briggs' animated film Ethel and Ernest while carrying on with my knitting. My rainbow's growing wider, now with some cable stitches. It's over 30 years since I did any cable - such fun! Thanks for all the kind comments on my yesterblip.
