TINY TUESDAY

For the first time in a while, we went out for coffee this morning to Jack’s and met several of our friends.  Whilst we were out, Mr. HCB collected a special device to attach to the television, so that if he is watching football, he can listen to the commentary through his hearing aids, instead of having the sound coming out into the room - he is so considerate!!

It would be great if it worked properly, and there is probably a simple explanation as to why it isn’t working, but we have just spent the best part of two hours trying to make the sound come into both his ears - to no avail - we can only get it to go into his left ear.

We are now having another coffee and a chocolate biscuit because we both feel very frustrated and as everyone knows, the answer is always chocolate or a chocolate biscuit, no matter the question!

Our hairdresser is due to come very soon, so the pairing of the hearing aids to our television will have to wait.  Let’s hope that one or other of us has a “light bulb” moment, because we need one!

My shot for Tiny Tuesday is the inside of my latest phalaenopsis orchid - could almost be looking down someone's throat.

“Things never go the way you expect them to.
That's both the joy and frustration in life.
I'm finding as I get older that I don't mind, though.
It's the surprises that tickle me the most,
the things you don't see coming.”
