Kirkstall Abbey

Very cold and windy yesterday afternoon with heavy rain showers.  At least we chose a bright spell of weather for our short excursion to the park.  It’s a long, long time since I was last here, even though we pass this site on our way to Horsforth and our visits to family.

Ann and Bobby opted to go to the playground and Jimmy had other important meetings to go to - I guess it’s what happens as the teenage years approach.

Their parents were home by the time we got back and we managed to get back to our home just before the start of quite a heavy snow storm - see extra.  Lucky!!
