Photography Show at NEC
It was like the gods had spoken... the moment I entered the NEC and the Photography Show I pulled out my camera and. Nothing.
Before leaving the house I had done my customary turn on camera, check general settings and check battery - it had showed thirty something percent and four hundred shots; plenty of charge left for today. But apparently not. The camera wouldn't even turn on.
The nice folk at the Canon stand took pity on my and put a half hour charge into it. That allowed me to capture this fellow. He really was in his part. All through the day he sat there, grinning into various props and slowly and carefully changing position.
In the end I came home without a new camera. I generally listen to the gods when they call, but Janet calls louder.
