Grateful

Grateful for peace and space

Grateful for time with my folks that has been fun and lovely

Grateful for 3 days if beautiful warm, sunny weather

Grateful for good food and opportunity to cook and for nice things to be said about mine and everyone else’s cooking efforts

Grateful for the sound of the palm tree leaves fluttering in the breeze

Grateful for being able to watch the wildlife; the deers eating, the cows following their strict routine, the birds bobbing (black redstarts),the male lizards fighting, the bees drinking, the cats prowling, the doormice scurrying, the ants busying and the ‘Derick’s’ (green shield beetles) noisily flying.

I’ve changed colour slightly and I’ve slept!
