Marjorie's ramblings

What would Winston think?

It was so warm this morning that we did not need coats or cardies.

We went to the Natural History Museum to see The Wildlife Photographer of the Year. It’s a wonderful set of images. (The section on abuse of animals is heart wrenching.)

Then to Westminster. We were keen to see how the demonstrators were lining up. It was busy and noisy. The place was full of Leave supporters including a good number with UKIP flags. No one knew where the remainers were. We looked...

Arth decided he had had enough and swelled up. I had to retreat to the hotel. It was a very slow taxi ride because the roads were gridlocked but the driver had worked in Newcastle and his ex-wife comes from Sunderland, near where I was brought up. He also likes photography, so we had plenty to talk about.

Julie went on to the Sorolla exhibition while I applied ice and emu oil to Arth. That should sort him out.

My extras are a demonstrator haranguing TV reporters (“fake news”) and a pen interesting Biblical slant on the EU!
