A Glorious Day (Day 3)

After yesterday's wind it was great to open the curtains and see all the flags hanging limply. We were out early, not far off the first lift and spent the whole day on the mountain. The air was very clear and we could see so many mountains (extra). Lots of people seemed to be headed over the border to Zermatt, so went the opposite way, to Valtourence. That was a good decision because the whole area was almost devoid of people and that part of the mountain is a sun trap. The slopes are generally easy but we are happy with that. Easy slopes are good places to improve technique!
Back in our hotel room we discovered the broad window ledge was also a suntrap for a while and here Björn is taking full advantage of the warmth. Just under the window was a flat concrete roof where we could place a chair, and a small pile of snow, where we could place our beers.
