CHIONODOXA.....

….. more commonly known as Glory of the Snow.  Mr. HCB guessed I was a bit “down” this morning so said he would take me out for coffee to a local garden centre, and then we could chose some more plants for the garden.

It was hammering down with rain, so we didn’t actually stay outside for too long, but just long enough to see these beautiful little flowers.  We bought about twenty alpines, some to go in a pot, but the others to dot around the garden and to be honest, the rain is very welcome on our newly-planted border.

Thank you for all your very kind comments yesterday, and the stars and hearts. I have read them all, and as many of you say, it is finding the balance that is key to everything that we do in our lives.  Going out with Mr. HCB this morning, chatting about the garden and buying some plants definitely brightened my day, and he did pay for all the plants, so I am very grateful.

               that is really nurturing us.”
