Pink Flowers

I was supposed to go to a U3A photographic event this afternoon, but the M11 was closed due to an eight-car accident. This means that the traffic is diverted through the villages and causes major traffic jams. I saw no point in sitting in traffic, almost at a standstill, so instead I continued to work on my temperature blanket as I have got a bit behind with it!
 
Today’s picture is of some of the more open flowers I received for Mother’s Day, in particular a rose, lily and daisy.
   
It was misty this morning, but the sun came out for a while. It was eleven degrees Celsius at noon, so still on the same boring blue and green yarn, which is what the last month has consisted of.
