The Reader

William and I changed our Monday routine today, going to Shepshed Toy Library to return toys and choose new ones, rather than going to Mummy Meet at Markfield.

There was a box of books for sale at the entrance. William immediately picked out the Learn with Thomas the Tank Engine book. He's got a thing about Thomas.

Astonishingly, he sat on the floor examining the pictures and the text. He couldn't  have been quieter or more engaged.

As for Len and me, we're still suffering tiredness., in my case exacerbated by a sleepless  night caused by the hay fever. I took an anti-histamine tablet first thing which did ameliorate the runny nose.
