Dixie

A lovely day, we walked around then up The Skirrid Mountain, near Abergavenny, with stunning views along its ridge over The Brecon Beacons.

We then enjoyed an ice cream at McDonalds before collecting granddaughter Amelia from nursery for a walk around Cwmbran Boating Lake to feed the ducks. The blipfoto shows her with Mrs BB on a bench dedicated to 'Dixie' Dean. Dixie and I were Police Officers and worked together in the late 1970's. He rose in the rank to become a Chief Inspector. He was out cycling and was knocked off it by a lady driver and killed. A nice guy.
