Structural

Aciphylla difenbachii. I have no idea what the common name is. It's native to the Chatham Islands, which are part of NZ but very different in every respect.

It caught my eye with its unusual spiky structure. It forms a clump of fine green feathery foliage and once it mature it will have spike of clustered bright yellow flowers in sunmer.

I have 2 at the front. Hopefully they're not as sensitive and picky as Chatham Island Forget Me Nots can be.

A busy Saturday for hpx with exercise and coffee, errands, saying goodbye to my previous heatpump, a cursory attempt at housework, and planting.

I like Saturdays and now it's time to relax :-)

Today's gratitude: For a rocking chair, beer, and a small black cat on my lap.
