No shadows this time. A grey, windy day, but it wasn't cold. There were more walkers than ever; thanks to me we even had a couple of recruits from the next village. J-L set a cracking pace, never pausing; I soon got left behind through the crime of pausing to admire a field full of wild orchids that no-one else had noticed, and later photographing poppies. I managed to grab this while I was rushing to catch up with them again, but otherwise I took virtually no photos because there was no time. 10 km, 40 m climbing, 2 hours.
Later a choir meeting to finalise concert arrangements. A two-hour round trip for an hour and a half meeting is a bit of a pain. But everything got done.
