Life's Little Moments

Tasty!

Hilly and I think that all the birds may have left this area while we were sleeping last night.  We went to several known bird "hot spots" today and were virtually skunked at each one.  It actually got to be quite funny.

However, not to be daunted, we set our sights on dragons, both the winged type as well as the scaled type.  My feature today is one of the Green Iguanas that have taken up residence in south Florida.  They are not native to Florida so are classified as an invasive species.  And apparently, they can do a fair amount of damage to landscape plants.  That aside, they are really fascinating creatures, definitely prehistoric looking.  And, as I learned today, they can swim and also run on their hind legs when being pursued by a photographer!

Continuing to have a wonderful time and will hate to see it come to an end on Saturday.  But in the meantime, there is a day and a half to enjoy!
