Please ring bell for attention

I've had this little scene just near my hairdressers in mind for a blip-pertunity for some time, and today's dreich scenes along the Water of Leith as I cycled down to get my haircut mandated that it was time to use it.

Getting ready, as they say. Bought wine and whisky. Wrapped presents. Read a couple of Christmas letters that have come in the post/by email. Received, and accepted, a Facebook friend request from someone I had *long* forgotten. Now there's the spirit.
