May Day

The first of May is a public holiday here and is known as "der Tag der Arbeit" or "The Day Of Work", which is odd as most people don't work on the day.  Similarly people are supposed to "dance into May" and I have yet to see that happen.

It has been a beautiful day on which to do nothing.

I discovered that everyone's  Wiesbaden's favourite Expressionist painter has a garden as well as a school named after him.  Both are closed today.
